What we believe

The Bible

God promised to preserve his words (Psalms 12:6-7).  We believe those words are preserved in the King James Version of the Bible and are without error.

God

We believe there is one God in three persons: God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). Jesus Christ is God put into a human body (1 Timothy 3:16).  Jesus Christ was sent to die on the cross for sinners.  The Holy Spirit is the "comforter" that indwells all born again believers (John14:26).

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift (Romans 6:23) that cannot be earned (Ephesians 2:8-9).  It is given when a person trusts Jesus Christ as their saviour by believing in his death, burial and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).  Jesus Christ's blood cleanses a person from all sin (Revelation 1:5).  When a person gets saved, they are born again (John 3:3), a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are eternally secure (John 10:28-29).

The Future

We believe Jesus Christ is coming back soon to rapture his bride before the tribulation period (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 4:1).  After the tribulation period, Jesus Christ will come back to the earth a second time at the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:16, Revelation 19:11-21), reign on earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:2), and defeat Satan one final time (Revelation 20:7-10).  Then, the Great White Throne Judgement will take place (Revelation 20:11-15).  God creates a new heaven and new earth and eternity begins (Revelation 21, 22).
